Mission

Assisi Snehalaya is a Care and support Centre run by St. Maximillian Kolbe Province, India, of the Order of Friars Minor Conventuals, administrated by “Assisi Snehalaya Charitable Trust” for persons living with HIV/AIDS, preferably for those who are in their last stage of life, who are down trodden and rejected from the society and family. This Centre offers comprehensive care aiming at the total well being of the persons, and helps them to regain their health, confidence, dignity and will to rejoin the family and society. This is a Public Charitable Trust without any profit motive and the benefits are open to all, irrespective of cast, creed, religion and sex.

Vision

To provide holistic care to the people infected with HIV/AIDS.

To be a Positive force in addressing the comprehensive needs of the people living with HIV/AIDS, ensuring their dignity and overall quality of life, by motivating, caring, supporting and restoring them through income generation skills, with a priority for the palliative care for all and of those who are in the end stage of the disease.

Our Serices

To provide treatment, nutrition, Psycho-spiritual counseling and relaxation for the well being of the persons suffering from HIV/AIDS
To support persons suffering from HIV/AIDS, especially those who are ostracized by their families and society
To restore self confidence and encourage changes in life – style through behavioral interventions
To provide self-employment through imparting of skills in income generation
To promote Positive Living
To Support the education of the infected and affected children

To provide information and education through outreach programs to the general public
